The workflow diagram
What this workflow does
When a SocialStreams stream fails or is blocked, its owner is told in AIMEE, the stream is resumed an hour later, and if it still has not finished a run two hours after that, you get an email.
Why it works. A silent stream means missed posts; catching failures the same day keeps your listening complete.
Runs on its own.
How it works
It starts: When a stream fails or is blocked.
- 1
Tell the stream owner
AIMEE tells the right person, with the context they need.
- 2
Wait an hour
Waits for the time you set before the next step.
- 3
Resume the stream
Pauses or resumes the stream.
- 4
Wait up to 2 hours for a finished run
Waits for an event, then continues. It moves on after a timeout.
- 5
Still not running?
If yes, it goes on to "Email that it needs a look". If no, it stops for that person.
- 6
Email that it needs a look
Emails a teammate with the details.
