The workflow diagram
What this workflow does
Checks and normalizes each mailing address as people join your postcard audience. Bad addresses are suppressed and removed before anything is printed.
Why it works. Every postcard costs $1.02, so catching bad addresses first saves money and keeps return rates down.
Nothing is sent, so nothing waits for approval.
How it works
It starts: When someone joins your postcard audience, or run it now on the whole audience.
- 1
Has a mailing address?
If yes, it goes on to "Check the address". If no, it stops for that person.
- 2
Check the address
Runs a BrandWell data lookup and brings the result back into the workflow.
- 3
Valid?
If yes, it goes on to "Save the normalized address". If no, it goes on to "Suppress the bad address".
- 4
Save the normalized address
Saves what was found onto the record.
- 5
Suppress the bad address
Adds the address to your do-not-mail list.
- 6
Remove from the postcard audience
Removes the people from the audience.
What you need
- Workflow Wallet funds for paid lookups
- Direct Mail in your BrandWell plan
- A Direct Mail campaign
What it costs
Each postcard is personalized, printed and mailed, and charged only when it ships.
- Assumes Direct Mail is already enabled in your plan. Subscription fees are separate.
- Execution estimates are not a total campaign price. External tool subscriptions, model usage, advertising spend and delivery costs are separate unless explicitly itemized.
$0.67 typical per 100 addresses, up to $1.33
Free sources run first when they can answer. You see a price before anything paid runs. Estimates use current customer prices.
Data partners
Free sources run first, then the rest in the order this workflow tries them.
