This is the workflow BrandWell builds on your canvas when you add it. You can change any step.

What this workflow does

When a postcard comes back undeliverable, it re-checks the address with USPS. A corrected address gets re-mailed after you approve; otherwise the address is suppressed and the person moves to email instead.

Why it works. Returned mail is wasted spend twice if you keep mailing it, and the person is still a good prospect through another channel.

Re-mailing and email enrollment both wait for your approval.

How it works

It starts: When a postcard is returned or undeliverable, or when an address is found invalid.

  1. 1

    Re-check the address with USPS

Runs a BrandWell data lookup and brings the result back into the workflow.

  2. 2

    Corrected address found?

If yes, it goes on to "Save the corrected address". If no, it goes on to "Stop mailing this address".

  3. 3

    Save the corrected address

Saves what was found onto the record.

  4. 4

    Stop mailing this address

Adds the address to your do-not-mail list.

  5. 5

Re-mail after you approve Waits for your OK

AIMEE personalizes a postcard, which is printed and mailed. It waits for your approval first.

  6. 6

    Has a work email?

If yes, it goes on to "Move them to email after you approve". If no, it goes on to "Find a work email".

  7. 7

    Find a work email

Fills a missing work email, trying included data first and paid sources only to fill the rest.

  8. 8

    Email found?

If yes, it goes on to "Move them to email after you approve". If no, it stops for that person.

  9. 9

Move them to email after you approve Waits for your OK

Adds eligible contacts to your Outreach campaign, after your approval when it is required.

What you need

  • Workflow Wallet funds for paid lookups
  • Direct Mail in your BrandWell plan
  • Outreach in your BrandWell plan
  • An Outreach campaign
  • A Direct Mail campaign

What it costs

Each postcard is personalized, printed and mailed, and charged only when it ships.

  • Assumes Direct Mail is already enabled in your plan. Subscription fees are separate.
  • Assumes Outreach is already enabled in your plan. Subscription fees are separate.
  • Execution estimates are not a total campaign price. External tool subscriptions, model usage, advertising spend and delivery costs are separate unless explicitly itemized.

$52.40 typical per 100 address checks, up to $108.33

Free sources and LeadFuze data run first. Paid lookups only fill the rest, and misses are free on most sources. Estimates use current customer prices.

Data partners

Free sources run first, then the rest in the order this workflow tries them.
